If you leave the blinds down when you store your caravan it weakens the blind screen mechanism such that they will not close.  The cost of replacing one small blind is about £40 so to replace all of them would be very expensive. 

Why depreciate the value of your caravan by having blinds that don't work properly?

Some people simply leave their curtains open.  The problem with this is that ordinary sunlight will fade the interior fabrics and wood finishes.  It also leaves your caravan open to prying eyes.

Some people close the curtains, but with modern caravans you rarely close the curtains they are there more for the sake of appearance.  If you do close the curtains it is likely that the sunlight will fade the fabrics anyway.  Plus not all windows have curtains.

So again why risk this happening?
